Waiting at Wah'nah'juss Hilth'hooiss (Meares Island)
On a solo trip to Tofino, I booked a kayak tour to Meares Island. As we pulled our kayaks ashore, I bent down to peer beneath a drooping cedar branch—only to discover this beautiful Haida canoe nestled in the shadows. In that moment, it felt as if I had stepped through a portal into the past, to a time when canoes were the lifeblood of travel. Meares Island carries a deep, almost mystical energy, making the experience feel all the more rare and special.

Archival Paper vs Giclée Canvas
Archival Paper are printed on high-quality, acid-free fine art paper with a smooth or textured finish.
Giclée Canvas are printed on premium cotton or poly-cotton canvas, and stretched over a wooden frame, with a durable varnished finish. These prints closely resemble an original painting on canvas and are ready to hang without additional framing. The print is fully wrapped around the edges using a mirrored image from the painting.
